Hi, Peepers,
Oh, what an awful adventure your mom had. Too bad she had to venture out in it and terrible the power outage was caused by a fire. So glad your mom got home safe and sound before it was dark. It's not safe to drive in the dark with the heavy rain and flooded areas that one might not be able to see, yikes! Around here it's a law that if it's raining hard enough for wipers to be on then headlights must be on. Even so, it really makes sense to have 'em on so others can see you.
We got a lil bit of rain yesterday afternoon, but it was not heavy or cold. More overnight. We do like our 70s temps, but it's Fall and we expect it to be alil cooler and less sunny and that's okay. We still need more rain, but not that much, heehee.
