Hello Romeo
You'd think the power went out here for as long as it's taken me t'get back to your page. Fortunately, everything's good here. That makes me feel very blessed, considering what others are still trying to survive through. I did hear about the gas rationing and the even/odd fill up schedule. Glad that's not something our parronts have to do on a regular bases all the time. Imagine though it could easily become the norm. One never knows how suddenly life could change.

I hope your weekend's been a nice one with mom home to listen to all your chorusing. Have I ever told you that one of the 'tiels that mom adopted from the Iowa Parrot Rescue is quite the whistler? The poor guy doesn't get around all that well — too many years in a cramped cage with a family of 8 — but he sure can whistle a happy tune.

Happy Veteran's Day ~
