Poor Mom, isn't she getting any better? Wish she could go with us, for sure.
Back to business as usual today. Mom did the outdoor mews at the center this morning. That means she saw all the owls, hawks, and vultures that live there all the time. She also cleaned for 3 great horned owls, and a turkey in the runs, the center of the hospital. Then she went swimming and finally broke the 500 meter mark by swimming 600 meters today! I helped mom redeem that gift certificate for Bird Paradise, we are in for some great treats, and she even got some outdoor feeders as Christmas gifts for family or friends. She got as close to the $250 as she could, it didn't take much as you probably know! They told her it should ship tomorrow, so we'll have it by the end of the week. Hope your day is going well. Let's head to the spa, maybe we can find a human spa for your mom on the way. Hugs, Falco |
