Hello Poirot
Oh! I see Chloe's been by to ask you about baseball next year. I do hope you'll be able to sign on the dotted line even though your Mama is one incredibly busy gal. It wouldn't be baseball without my Grey guy on the team. I think this next season is going to be organized and played in a slightly different way so that it's not as long or as time consuming. That's the goal anyway. Just a little fun instead of an all-consuming season.

Let's see, what's new here? A puppy, believe it or not. Like we don't have enough furred and feathered things here, mom went and got soft, suggesting that Max (the middle brother with some physical complications he'll have to deal with for the rest of his life) could have the dog he's been wishing for since his Daisy passed away two years ago. We now have a pug puppy bouncing around the place. My first reaction to this creature was to fly from the t-stand to decorative cabinet close to where mom was standing. I guess I thought should a rescue be necessary, she'd be the best one to be near to. Oddly though, I didn't growl which is my usual reaction to strange dogs. I've basically ignored the pooch since then. Saber got an up-close introduction tonight after bailing off the same t-stand and onto the floor just inches away from the hound. Mom grabbed up the dog for fear the BIRD would do damage! They're nearly the same size at this point. There's a rescue story behind this dog but I'll share that with you anther time. For now, it's Kelly~Kisses for my guy and the expressed wish that all is well with you. I hope your next report includes discussions of crazy flying, wild talking and lots of pickling! And I know, no recording sent off to you yet. Shame on me. Yesterday mom threatened RaneBeau with bodily harm if he did whatever it was he was about to do — I don't even remember what it was now. Could've been anything. Anyway, about the time she said, "RaneBeau, I'm gonna thump you if you ... " to which I added my "cool, cool, cool!" as if I was excited about the prospect of seeing the big lug thumped on the noggin. That one had mom laughing for sure.

Sweet dreams tonight and may the t-rexs, dragons and gators all leave you in peace.
