HI Marigold
I can see Feathers flight feathers poking through and she had lost them two weeks ago. I think she will be flying again by christmas. Right now her flight feathers are real tiny. Also good news is that she is totally back to normal running around and chirping. For days she was quiet sitting on her perch. And she would chirp here and there if she saw me. The only thing she did normal was eat. But now she is chirping and running around again. Like this morning i was on the phone and the guy said he could hear a bird in the background and i said its my cockatiel and he said it sounds like a great bird. Something like that he said. I am happy she is back to normal. She is napping write now. Probably her feathers were really bothering her back when she was quiet. She had lost 8 of them at the same time and maybe one of them bled by the skin so that she had a soar wound. Sometimes she screamed as if a feather was bothering her. I didnt want to rule out a infection or cold so i kept her warm and even gave her extra food which she was eating all of it. So now she is back to normal and she is almost 17 years old.
