Hi Dixie
We're not ready for that cold weather at all. It's been kind of dismal here too. Mom's granddaughter invited her, her own mom and step dad, and her sister on Sunday to her place to celebrate an early Thanksgiving, since she and her boyfriend are going away for the holiday. Mom will miss them, but she understands that they need to spend time with both families. Now mom has to figure out what to cook and take with her, though. Hope she comes up with something good. Lena is starting to eat meat again, she was a vegetarian for awhile, but felt sluggish and thought she'd benefit with more protein in her diet. Mom thinks that's right. If you are raised in a vegetarian house, you probably have the right combination of beans, rice, veggies, etc. to make complete meals and good choices, but if you aren't raised like that, it's hard to get just the right mix.
