Hey, it was great gettin' to read your interview with Sky. I just love how what you and Kallie do with your tricks is helpin' other human see what potential us parrots have when given lots of attention, patient guidance and affection. Obviously I'm not getting enough 'cause I don't push a stroller or put rings on a peg. I think I'll point that out t'mom and see if she don't feel guilty and vow to spend even more time with me. he hee.

Guess what? Flash is staying here a little longer. Yup. I heard mom ask Uncle Chuck yesterday if the Flash~Guy could stay another few days. Mom was hoping to have him get comfortable with stepping up and STAYING on her hand. Right now Flash will step up but then hop right on over to the next cage. He's doin' great with trusting and interacting but mom would really like t'see him be comfortable enough to just stay put after stepping up. I don't mind if the white bird's here a little longer. It's worked out okay havin' him here. I'm usually busy shredding some shirt or towel when mom's hangin' out with Flash so it's alright if she gives him some attention. Yesterday we McFlocksters had an autumn photo shoot; I love those things 'cause the camera stares at me, me, me for at least a few minutes! I'm told I'm a tough one to get a good picture of 'cause I don't sit still. That was definitely true of yesterday's session — I kept wanting to turn around and check out the plants and props and stuff. When the jar of nuts came out of the closet and was set behind mom, I promptly turned around and kept an eye on those treats. SNAP-SNAP! Picture's taken, parrot gets nut as reward; happy parrot! Happy mom. It's wonderful, bein' happy, ain't it.

Big hug t'you, little cutie. Hope you can keep your mom home so more t'day. Out-of-cage time, it's the best.

Love ya oodles!
