Mornin' Riley
All I gotta say about that entrance you made the other day is THANK GOODNESS there's a five inch gap between slammed-open door and the wall. I'd have been pancaked by your, uh, shall we say, exuberant arrival the other day if there hadn't been that life-saving space. Actually, that's why that cardboard box is kept behind the door, so I WON'T get smashed by some amped-up entrance into the bird room. You happened to catch one of those rare moments the box had gotten pushed forward a bit. Dad loves it 'cause he can open the door up against that box and trap me behind the door, leaving his toes free to relax while in the vicinity.

So you don't like wind in your feathers, huh? And t'think I was gonna take you on a roller coast ride where there was nothing BUT wind in your feathers. Or is that enough of a different kind a'wind, one that you'd call "fun wind". Yeah, new definition there. You inspire such things. On a roller coaster you can't flap your wings and try t'fly away. You're strapped in so nothin' crazy like that happens. That should make your Momma feel better, knowin' you're tied in and goin' no where. But up and down, and up and down... and round n'round if it's a really crazy coaster ride.

You and your dialog, it's like the most amazing thing. I gotta tell ya, when you were here at my house, I never looked at you and thought, 'Now there's a bird that's gonna be a talker.' Nope, never crossed my mind. But here you are, this great conversationalist (even if it is conversations with only yourself), learnin' new words and lines all the time! I am definitely impressed. I'm a man of few words myself. I'm stuck with relying on the eyes to say what needs sayin'. *R looks steadily into Riley's eyes in an effort to demonstrate how he communicates with his eyeballs.* Nothin? Didn't get any sort of message there? Mmmm. Gotta work on that one, I guess. I was tryin' t'tell you I like the you you've gotta be.

Okay, movin' on. Let's talk football cheers. You are the perfect one t'cheer the Pilgrim's Pride team on t'victory, I just know it. I mean, a mighty scream from your gutline and we'll all be runnin' for the endzone wether we've got the ball or not! I'm thinkin' that a few timely hollers and you can scare the beegeebees out of them Indians so they drop the ball and we Pilgrims can sojourn that pigskin for a touchdown. Sound like a plan? Find that mascot outfit, oh Cheerleader Eggstraordinarie! I wanna see you in it.
