Hi, Hulk,
The mudslide story was in the newspaper. Apparently a pipe of some sort broke and that caused the problem. The report says that people won't have to use their insurance that the city will take care of it if people make a claim. As far as car insurance it would probably depend on what type and how much coverage a person had. The pics showed cars covered in mud two feet or higher. With all the electronic stuff in cars these days can't just hose it off and think it'll be okay, must have it looked at by a mechanic to ensure it's safe.

Our mom had a tire blow out one time. No phone in sight. She finally got a bus to get home, but she was supposed to pick up skinsis and another child after school and the school had to call dad. She got a cell phone after that.

Have a great day, wing hugs and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
