Yodel Yodel Lah HaydeeeeDOOOOOOO.......
Sam's yodeling makes Gizmo cringe, Willie fluffs, and Miss Falco starts the conure alarm yell! SORRY SORRY, I just came by to say my "hello's". You know that is how people would call out to one another in the Swiss Alps where yodeling originated from the ancient cave dwellers. I always thought it was just some guy who happened to hurt his "happy place" and was forcibly being made to talk, sing, & whimper in several octaves higher than normal. Ouch!

Mom went around Waxhaw to the main businesses like the grocery stores(2), the Lowe's Home Improvement Store (1) and the Waxhaw Police Dept. to drop off & post some wanted posters. They all received them very well & even had heard briefly the coverage the news did with airing it on television. One manager even has her own birds so she really wanted to help post the information. They put the up at the entryways, the breakrooms, and one grocery store had Mom put it on the outside Pepsi machine because it belonged to the store. Mom wanted to volunteer & help but she's in no shape to join the volunteers they needed to help canvas the neighborhoods & apartments that surround the Parrot University/CPR. They are also meeting up tomorrow to start groups converging on all the swap meets in the area. Mom is really hoping they find them. If they were going to be outside tomorrow, it is just TOO COLD for having them be outside now. The high is going to be 57 & that won't occur until around 5pm. The swap meets will be closing up shop before it gets dark. We are so hoping & praying they are found or given up back to the rescue. It is a long shot but it's worth taking.

Well, Mom found out that her mate wants to go out to a restaurant for Thanksgiving so Mom won't have to cook. She appreciates not having to cook this year but it just feels so.....un-American to be going out on Thanksgiving Day instead of eating at home. Mom is still hurting & when she gets up moving around alot, the knee swells back up. Mom then has to start all the propping & icing & heating all over again. That frustrates her a lot I can tell! Then she thinks about it & it will be nice for her not to have to work so hard that day when she's already working so hard as it is

Well, you guys have a wonderful weekend. Big hugs to all, SamIAm
