Yes, there's always gonna be those nasty types. The know it alls who demand stuff and that's when one calls the manager and they can decide if they're gonna lower any prices for whatever reason. If a sale sign is left up that is honored. If it's a solitary stray piece in the wrong place that's the managers call as other customers do leave unwanted stuff wherever. Sometimes signs are ambiguous or things are sold out, but again, that's that managers job to determine on an individual basis.
Your mom'll have fun looking for things at the dollar shop. There really are a lot of fun things for a dollar that'll be fun for all ages.
It took us awhile on BC to really get any friends and get involved in the activities. Such talented and creative parronts there are here. We love that some make pics and others have places like the KB, the ski chalet, the flower shop, bakery, the spa, we could go on and on. It's great to be able to swap tips and ideas as well and share in the good stuff and the not so good stuff that is all part of life. We can't imagine not being on BC.
All we can say to those who take in birds that need rehab is a big wing hug and high 4s for all they do. While it's sad those lives are shortened due to the malnutrition or abuse or both the bottom line is that they knew love and care during their final days, be it weeks, months or years after rescue, and that's the most important thing
Mom's just making the regular type of pumpkin pie as that's what everyone likes, nothing fancy. She tried different crusts and things, but always goes back to the classic. The ambrosia is plain and simple as well. Some whipped cream, fruit, marshmallows and that's it.
