Miss Pico!! Where Did You Get Those Beautiful....
....sculptures!? These aren't the toys your good Momma made you, are they? They are beautiful! Why, in our little town of Waxhaw, they would have those out in public for ALL to see! They do have some of the local artists' work place around. Some are real nice and some Mom scratches her head at. But YOUR'S would not be a head scratcher. I do believe they would be hanging down from the grand oak tree where there resides some that do hang quite nicely.

This coming Friday, Waxhaw is turning on all the lights of the decorations. They have this foot bridge that arches over the railway. It begins at the huge oak tree on Main Street. They have built a huge octagon deck around it & a bench that surrounds the trunk. The tree is hundreds of years old. A few weeks before Thanksgiving, they wrap lights all over the limbs of that giant tree using bucket trucks. Most times, TWO bucket trucks. When they turn on that tree, it is beautiful and it's not even a "Christmas" tree. But it sure looks like one when the lights come on. Mom will try to get some pictures of it this year.

If you don't shred those toys up, I know it's because you want them to become part of your decor of your good home. They are so pretty to match the pretty bird that will be playing on them. Have a lovely day, Miss Pico! And also a very Happy Thanksgiving to you & your's! Hugs, SamIAm
