Dearest Scion!
I LOVE the new pic! And you know that I WOULD perch on that turkey if only the hoomans would let me! They never let me have any fun!

I am so sorry I haven't written in so long. The Cuddler has been sick for over 2 weeks with the Worst Cold Ever. She's never had one so bad that has hung on for so long. Today is the first day in 15 days that she's not all stuffed up, but unfortunately her nose is running like a faucet now and it's all she can do not to drip on the patients - yuck!

I am so sorry about poor little Sophie. I want to give your mom a big wing hug! I'm glad she's at the Rainbow Bridge but I know you all miss her terribly. The missing part never really goes away, does it?

How nice of your neighbor to invite your parronts for Thanksgiving! My hoomans are going to the grandparronts' so us birds will be alone all day. I am going to enjoy that delicious cinnamon bun you brought me since it may be the only treat I get!

The Cuddler is working all night tonight, then she has to make a sweet potato casserole when she gets home in the morning. After that they leave for the day. She hopes she can stay awake long enough to eat and be somewhat social with the inlaws. Friday morning the Bird Whisperer has a rehearsal for her recital; the Cuddler works Friday night; then the violin recital is Saturday afternoon. She's not going to be getting much sleep these next few days.

Did I mention I have eggs? I have 4 of them, and I'm taking wonderful care of them, as usual. Butterball has some too, but Apollo has been sitting on them so I haven't had to foster them yet. If he starts slacking off I may have to take over. Usually he gets tired of doing all the work himself after a couple weeks.

Has your car gotten fixed yet? Ours hasn't!

That is so funny about Picabo and the donut. Can you imagine, being afraid of food? Some of my flockmates are like that too. Not me - if the hoomans are eating it, I want it!

Thank you so much for the down booties! They are so warm and comfy. Are you still getting your naps in the down comforter?

I brought us some eggnog to share, and a nice pumpkin pie. Hopefully tomorrow we can have a nice Thanksgiving feast together! Of all the things I have to be thankful for, I'm most thankful for YOU! *kiss* Happy Thanksgiving to you, your flock, and your dear parronts!
