My football hero!
I am anxiously awaiting news on the game! How did it go? Did you win? Did you score a touchdown? You didn't get creamed, did you? I'll HISS at anybirdie who dared tackle you! I'm sorry I couldn't go but the BW had her violin recital at the exact same time as the game. She did well and is very glad it's over - she hates recitals! After the recital, the violin students went out for ice cream, and then the Cuddler and the kids went to our friend the breeder's for the evening. She has something called post-shingles fatigue syndrome and has a lot of trouble keeping up with her flock and her housework, so they spent the evening cleaning cages, feeding and watering birds, and doing housework for her. The Cuddler has wanted to do it for several weeks now but has been too sick herself to go over there. She finally felt well enough on Saturday, and had the time to boot. I'm sorry it meant I had to miss the Milonga though! I hope you saved me some goodies!

I have news - two babies hatched! One on Saturday, one on Sunday. They are doing great and Valentine is doing most of the work, hee hee! He is very uptight and hyper about it. Since I'm an old pro at this, I make sure I take breaks and come out of the cage for exercise and cuddle time with the humans. I don't even mind if they look at and handle the babies, but Valentine won't even let them look at them. I don't think I'll miss him when it's over with, living with him is like living with Felix Unger! The Cuddler says she can't wait until this baby phase is over and we all go back to our big community cage.

So your mom can't get canned pumpkin down there? What a bummer! Would she like us to send her some, or is that illegal?

The knit sweater is darling, and so warm and soft! Thank you! And the hot chocolate was yummy. I brought you a local specialty - Christmas Ale from Great Lakes Brewery. It's a Cleveland brewery, and they are famous for the Christmas Ale. Every year they make a limited quantity and it sells out long before Christmas! I managed to get you some to try. It's rather strong, so take it easy! And I also brought you a homemade pumpkin roll. They go great together!

Now sit down and let me give you a back and wing rub. You must be so sore from that game! I brought a heat pack for your foot and an ice pack for your head! Relax and let me massage all those bumps and bruises away!

Love,
Your Annie

PS Car still not fixed!
