Hi, Chi Chi,
So glad to hear that Gus is fine. How stressful to think that no vet was immediately available and good it turned out okay. Sounds like it must've been a food bit and we birds can panic so easily when things aren't right like that. We are glad there are many vets around here as we had to take Silver to a different vet once when he cut himself and this was the first year the parronts had us and were scared of him being badly scratched as all they could see was the blood. It was a Sun so had to find a vet that was open. It was a freeway drive away, but less than 30 min, so not that far. Dad found later what Silver hurt himself on and fixed it. (Some rough edge on the birdhouse.)

The train is a nice way to travel. Very scenic. Mom has only taken short trips, but her sister took one all the way to TX once when her best friend was living there.

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
