Hi, Chi Chi,
Gosh, an hour away to see the avian vet? That's okay for check ups and the like, but in an emergency would be scary. Guess a bird owner would have to really know their fids and can spot a possible health issue in plenty of time to get help if needed. Mom's glad there was a vet available on that Sun years ago when Silver had his accident and mom's relieved we hadn't had any other injuries. Sure hope furball doesn't need any more either as her problem happened on a w/e too.

Rain here yesterday then sunny again, but cool. More rain to come. North of us have flood watches as they are anticipated to get a lot of rain. Hope this brings our rainfall closer to normal.

We like to perch next to each other to sleep. Mom assumes we're warmer that way.

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
