Heya, RaneBeau!
So you got your butt feathers caught in the door, huh? Man, that had to be awful! Sure hope you didn't lose any. When I was a baby, I kept doing sommersaults and stuff and broke my tail feathers off. Mom was so embarrassed when I went for my toenails to be done--but that is what I was like as a little guy. Love to be all over the place, rolling around. Now I have pretty feathers, and Mom is thrilled. I still roll around but not as much. Hehehe.

Well, Kim sounded like her old self when Mom talked to her. She got a bath, and got her hair cut and dyed. She was so happy to be clean, and she was thrilled to get her hair done. She also said that there were not enough folks to transport her to activities, so she told her husband that he needed to come and get involved in her therapy. And he did! She said he really encouraged her a lot, and made her do more than she would have had he not been there. I think it was an awesome move on her part. Her hubby is not always the nicest to her, and I think maybe he might be a bit freaked out about all of this. The diagnosis was pneumonia and endocarditis, which is an infection of the heart muscle. Mom thinks that she was desperately sick, and her body just decompensated as a result. Normally people who walk into the hospital walk out of it, but Mom says that Kim had to be super sick, and her body just could not handle it. The doctors say the same thing, too, which is kinda funny as they and Mom haven't talked. It was so good for Mom to hear her sounding good. She is going to go there on Saturday and decorate Kim's room. Hopefully that will help cheer her up.

Your buddy,
