Hey Pearl and Silver!
Thanks for the info on the yarn and needles! Once mom asked someone at a craft store how heavy was worsted yarn when she was going to make an afghan. They had no idea! Mom likes using circular needles too for making afghans. Took her awhile to get used to them but she uses them all of the time now. She likes the bamboo needles....straight of circular. They are a bit more expensive, but much easier on her hands!
I don't think mom is close to designing anything yet!
Mom knits the baby hats flat, then stitches them together. She doesn't like the seam either.....but that is the pattern she was given to use.
Yeah....we have nibbled a bit of the yarn. Would I ever like to get my beak on that afghan mom is working on! Heehee!
Have a great day!
Love,
Raffikki and a V4U
