Hi Cookie
Our cards are ready for the post office in the morning. The big tree isn't finished yet. My tree is pretty close to me. Mom's chair is in the middle. I've been near my tree and sat on the wreath so, I'm ok with it. But, I'd sure like to chew it up.
Well, my parronts had a good time at the Christmas open house in Petoskey. Dad got his bean soup and mom got her roast beef on a bun (Perry Hotel has their chef carve it). This year they had wine tasting (3 choices for free) along with several business also serving wine. There were so many choices … cheeses, fruits, veggies, roast beef, bean soup, coffee, hot chocolate, donuts, cookies, pie etc. Everything is free; you just walk around the downtown area. You can shop, eat, (graze style), drink, listen to the Steel Drum Band playing Christmas music, carolers, 3 piece little bands etc.
Unfortunately, there was nothing for me. But, I got lots of attention from mom when she got home, so that was OK. Look out! The snow starts on Saturday.
