`Ü´ *Ruby approaches The Flower Shop
much surprised to see Miss Alex sitting on the curb in front.*
Greetings and Good Morning, Miss Alex! What on EARTH would have you seated on the curb in front of our Flower Shop this morning?!
Oh! You forgot your keys, did you? Silly, silly Miss Alex! **GiGGle** Here ... allow me.
*Ruby inserts her key into the lock in the front door and opens it to allow Miss Alex to enter The Shop first.*
Let's get to setting things up quickly so that we are open at the appointed time for our customers. Then I must ask for a little bit of time to leave and tend to ushering in the new occupant of The Kissing Booth for the next two weeks, Mr Martini. You see, Miss BigBaby's daddy will be unavailable for most of this week and Momma offered our services to watch over The Booth and take care of things in his absence. I shouldn't be more than an hour or so though, so it won't affect our day's business here at The Flower Shop all that much.
Now let's see, what all needs to be done?
*After the two LadyBirds have set everything up for the day's business in The Pretty Rose Flower Shop, Alex turns on the lights and Ruby flips the sign in the front window to read "OPEN for Business!"*
There! I do believe we are all set now. Would you do me a favor, please Miss Alex, and when Miss Muffin arrives ask her if she would be so kind as to bring up the tinsel and the lights that I have sorted out in the basement, and spend some time laying them out on our display shelves to begin our Christmas decorating? I know she was eggstremely eggscited to be a part of our efforts. I should be back by the time she finishes that and then we can all get into the deocrating if you'd like. |
