Hi, Cleo, Oh, yes, the hawk pal is super cute (for a predatory type critter) and it's bigger than the 'tiel pals. After Christmas we'll take a pic and post it since we think Jivu probably doesn't have it up anymore, oh, maybe Jivu's mum sent us a pic in an email, if so wonder if mom could figure out how to send it... Yeah, accidents can happen no matter how careful one is. Pearl got tangled in yarn once when mom was knitting. The more he strugged (around his neck) the worse it got. Mom grabbed scissors and cut the yarn as fast as she could to free him. Can't recall what she was making, but sure she salvaged it later on. Scratches are just a part of life and we're sure the wild birds occasionally get 'em too. Still, parronts just can't help but feel a tad guilty and extra doting is always welcome. Of course, the rest of the flock might get jealous, but sure they wouldn't want to get hurt either. Have a great day, wing hugs and a vote, Pearl and Silver. |
