Hi, Chica,
Good that the glue doesn't smell. When our dad redid the kitchen floor and later one of the back bedrooms the glue smell wasn't strong. We were in another room anyway. Think the prep is the longest part the actual installation usually is quick, especially if there's more than one guy on the job.
Glad your dad hasn't had it too bad with the shingles rash/itch/discomfort and sure hope it doesn't last for months/years. Yikes! That must be what happened with our gpa. He had it a few years ago and then last year again, but very mild so perhaps it's just a flare up? Don't really know much about it.
Not really ready for Christmas, but mom's usual pattern is to get everything in place the week leading up to the day, which means the end of this week she's gotta get it going. Yeah, the parronts got the sunroom and now the office is getting done. Did that bike thingy ever sell?
