Hi B&T
Guess what!?? Mom missed the Eureka Christmas show! However you have inspired her to start checking the seasons out of the library again. She has only done season one so far.
Well, the furnace is working again and how!! Mom couldn't wait until Thursday for the Gas Co to come out, so she called the repair guy we had before. She and Dad were worried we might need a new furnace, and the guy did admit ours is a dinosaur (like Gizmo's campaign!!). However she should still have a couple of years in her, and the repair was only $104. Now the house is nice and warm, and my room is absolutely toasty!
Mom's knee is still hurting, and so she did not go to the gym today. (Couldn't anyway since the repair guy was coming.) She is limping and so it is ice packs and lots of lying down. She couldn't sleep last night because of the pain, until Dad harrassed her into taking a pill. So today it was nap time, except when she was with me or the repair guy. Oddly enough I didn't make a sound while he was here, even though he was right outside my door. I guess I knew he was fixing the heat, and that is a good thing. No way was I scared!
