Hi, Cleo,
The BD celebration was for a friend of dad's at the coffeeshop who turned 75? Think he said he's now 75. He and his wife brought a huge chocolate cake and a carrot cake to share with everyone. Nice people.
Mom is sooooo glad that she's done with the holiday shoppers. Of course, on Wed begins the returns and the redemption of gift cards, heehee, it'll slow wayyyyy down after that. (The store has already received a few Valentine's day items, yikes!)
Our mom loves to listen to Christmas music. Dad, not so much so mom limits it to what's on her ipod and can listen without disturbing him.
It rained really, really hard here yesterday. So dark out during the day. Drying up today and the sun is out.
Mom will bake some bread tomorrow and then the family will go to mom's sis for dinner.
