Hi, Peepers,
Sounds like you and the flock had such a wonderful time with all the relatives and the other fids. Being out and sampling some food and sitting with everyone, so great. We'd never do that as Pearl would be too scared. Silver would probably do it, but we have to be together.
Hopefully those meds will start to work quickly and that Dixie won't fuss taking 'em multiple times a day. It's easy giving meds to furballs, but we've heard some fids are a tad more fussy about it all. Mom doesn't know if we'd be difficult or not and hopes never to find out.
There's not as much worry in our area of rain issues. The leaves were cleaned up early so less drainage issues and the creeks near us have all been made more flood safe. However, other places have had floods, mudslides, etc. It did rain this morning, but was sunny by the afternoon.
All we really wanted was a good supply of regular millet. Mom gave us some flavored stuff last year. We ate it (eventually), but can't say as we attacked it immediately like we do with the normal kind. We still have a supply of finger traps and since mom couldn't find a pinecone in the store will now have time to find it online.
