Hi, Peepers,
That's sad those people cannot go into their houses to salvage some of their belongings, but being swept out to sea would not be good. Very sad. Perhaps people won't build their main home so close anymore.
Hmmm, if those sparrows like the lived in aspect of the birdhouse perhaps a new sturdy one could be made with not as new materials? Our dad made a bird house out of left over fenceboards and it took years before they saw any birds using it, heehee.
No firm plans for New Years here. Mom has to work her normal hours and never stays up to midnight anyway. Sure hope the fireworks and yelling noise doesn't bother furball, it won't bother us!
Great to see you and the flock at the Milonga. Wow, so many birds there, hard to keep track and went by really quickly too.
