Hi Rusty! Happy New Year To You & All You Flock!!
I hope you had a good time last night. We stayed in & kept under cover from the small war that waged from the rockets red glare of our neighbors enthusiastic rendition of First Night Fireworks. The weather has been soggy at best which means he won't set the woods on fire and burn down the houses. Theirs and ours! This year I slept through the most of it but the kitties huddle on Mom's & her mate's laps for reassurance. Once it stopped (and just when you think it was stopped, they start all over again!) the kitties jumped down from huddling on the humans & began playing with each other like they hadn't seen each other in a month! I think it was a kitty celebration of the "war" being over!! I do like to whistle out that rocket/bomb sound & see the reaction of the cats as they wait for an explosion to take place. Mom & her mate will TRY to make an explosion noise but I tell them 'no no no". Not like I want them to stop, oh no, more like they haven't mastered the art of imitation because they're terrible at it. Now, when I make that whistling sound...Mom will bark like a dog or meow like a cat!!! She's even mooed and peeped at me, too! I just laugh because it has become a game. I whistle and the humans make animal noises. It is very funny to me!! I'll see ya later, tater! Hugs to you & yours, SamIAm
