Happy New Year Zippy
Polly and family.

We don't have a basement here. Many new houses being built have added a basement. Guess it's used more like a playroom or mancave, not sure though. If we had one that's what dad would do with it, heehee. Mom wouldn't like it as she likes to be able to see outside.

Your temps are in the teens? Yikes! We complain if it's in the 40s here and if there's the tiniest bit of frost/ice on mom's car to scrape off in the morning she's not thrilled. Still, would not want to have to do any shoveling. Oh, do people there have to get ice out of locks to get into their car/house?

We know mom isn't your favorite so you must've been cold to sit with her. When we sit with the parronts we usually end up migrating to their feet and the shoelaces, heehee.

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
