Hi RaneBeau!
Happy New Year to you, sir! Very sad about George. Mom took that really hard because she felt she was to blame. I know she went to numerous programs/lectures and even met and spoke with Sally Blanchard about flock aggression. It's amazing what captivity does to some of us. Cockatoos in the wild will not mutilate their mate, however, the stories in breeding captivity are a horror! That old fat Elvis can sneak out a side port, so everybirdy is reminded and birdsitter taught that all doors are open and shut--not left open for a moment.Yes, King Sky did a wonderful interview and Momma Deb did a lovely pic there. That's never gonna happen, but photoshop is sure nice. I was shadow boxing on the back of the couch the other day. Miranda and Cu Bird were on their perches and Cookie was loving on dad. Doo was with mom and suddenly he flies over to me for attack mode. Doo, you dude, do you know how big I am? ANyway, Mr Doo Too got a time out. It appears that hormones are running on high here, so mom keeps an eagle eye on everybirdy. No harm done, only to the Too who had to sit that one out and miss the end of the movie! Love and winghugs, Josh
