Good afternoon, Charlie! Here's vote #774
Well I must say, today has been pretty swell! This morning Mother let me out while she took a shower. I wanted to stay on her hand while she went in the shower, but she put me down on my cage and told me that the drops from the shower are too big and forceful for me. Phooey! So I sang her a song and waited and waited and waited.. man does she take long showers! By the time she came out, I was tired of waiting and had already climbed back in my cage. Despite her many attempts, I put my foot down and refused to leave my cage. Serves her right!

So, she put my cage back into the livingroom where it normally is. Then she gave me a small amount of raspberry, but I didn't care for it too much. Besides, I had just eaten some carrot when Mother let me out in the morning, so I wasn't very hungry.

Mother felt bad that I didn't have much fun the first time I came out, so she let me out again! WHOOPIE! That itself made my day - getting play time twice in one day! And this time I had a lot more fun.

Actually, both of us had a lot more fun. I am Mother's perfect photo subject. I always look at the camera and I sit still. I just love the attention! Plus, right after several photos are snapped, Mother gets very happy and that makes me even more happy. So we took even more photos today, come check them out!

There WAS one bad part of my day, though. Mother tried to clip my toenails! She started off by just talking about how she would clip my nails tomorrow, because they're getting pretty long and got caught in Mother's sweatshirt (very briefly) a few times. So all was good and well, I didn't really pay much attention to what she was saying anyway. Then BAM. She brings out the bad boys. Yep. THE NAIL CLIPPERS. I said, nuh-uh! I know what those are for!

She picked me up and attempted to get my nail in the right position, but she realized that she wasn't being calm, which was making me panic. So she set me down. WHEW. I sure dodged a bullet. I don't like being held very much. I enjoy sitting on Mother's hand, arm or shoulder (sometimes her head) but I don't like being held. [I'm not sure that I'm entirely in the clear, though. I'm pretty sure Mother said something about definitely clipping my nails tomorrow. Yikes!]

Well, that's all for my day! How'd yours go? Saying prayers & sending love & hugs to you and your family!
