Hi, Mackenzie,
We are firmly ensconsed in the middle of suburbia so no coyotes, deer or mountain lions. However, we have seen the occasional possum, raccoon and hawk/falcons, no owls. The sounds of nature are quite wonderful to hear.

Don't worry we have no sad endings to any of our stories. Last spring (or perhaps the one before) dad was trimming the lemon tree. A big branch fell down with a nest in it. There were 3 baby robins in it! The parent birds were dive bombing dad as he quickly put a glove on and scooped up the two that fell out and propped the branch back into the tree. Within two or three days all three babies fledged. By the end of the week the cut branch was done for, but the Robin family was fine.

Don't laugh but furball's name is Boza. Skinsis boyfriend named her. Not sure where he came up with that name, but know it's certainly not on the list of favorite doggie names, heehee. We'll tell you her adoption story next time and the baby bird story to follow as well.

Have a great day, wing hugs and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
