Think many birds are fine with parronts trimming wings/claws, but we aren't. Maybe 'cause there's two of us and the one not being worked on is screaming in defense of the one being 'tortured' so it really is easier for our mom to take us to the vet. Sorry to hear you don't have a good avian vet nearby and hope you never need one.

Our mom is just glad to have the digital camera so she can delete all the blurry, turned heads and other bad pics. She can never get a good close up either, but others say they just use the zoom, but mom hasn't figured out how to do that. She assumes there's a zoom on her camera, but maybe not.
