Hi Ms Chirps
I love it!!
Mom went back to zumba today after three weeks off because of her knee. She wore her knee brace, and she was very careful not to do any moves that would twist her knee. (She picked up a couple of new dances, which she taught me this afternoon too!) Went pretty well, and just to be safe she took a really hot shower as soon as she got home and then iced it while she sat and read with me. Of course, I just had to know what that cold thing under the towel was, but she wouldn't let me check it out. Just rude, I say!! But don't worry. None of us will need ice packs after the class. We are all way too limber to worry about such things.

Now I know I am late getting the class started, but that is Mom's fault. Cori and boo boo are you ready? Chaka? Are you going to join in? I will get our Latin music all set up, and start with a simple number. Now remember. There is a lot of repetition in zumba. If you do a motion or step sequence to the left, you will follow it up with the same to the right. Wiggle your hips and shimmy your feathers, and you will be doing just fine.

All ready??!! Let's zumba! Just follow after me!

Kiddo takes two steps to the left, flaps his wings three times, and spins to the right and repeats. They do this move several times, then he leads them in a strut forward and back swaying their hips in time to the music.

Now repeat!!

Everybirdy is doing great!!
