`Ü´ Greetings and Good Morning Miss Alex!
Mmmmm ... *Ruby breathes in the aroma of the bacon, knowing that there must be grits to go with it*

That smells lovely! What else do we need to do to finish up before opening so we can sit down and indulge outselves with one of our favorite breakfasts for the first time in the New Year?

*Ruby looks around and sees that the Customer Service Counter needs to be set up so she hurriedly retrieves the cash drawer from the safe and inserts it into the register, after which she brings out the receipt books and order tablets and arranges them on the top of the counter.

By then everything is ready to unlock the front doot to invite their featheriends and customers for the day and Alex and Ruby are free to sit down to breakfast in the back room.*

Shall I pour us some Orange Juice to go with our faire this morning, Miss Alex?
