Glad you liked the cake. Mom always gets big cakes because we have a big flock and with lots of friends, well... we all enjoy cake. When Mom and Dad picked the house they talked about generators, and knew they had to get one. The original plan was to get one to do most of the house but the price was much too high for something they knew would not be used all that much, so they decided to go with a smaller one, something that would do the bird room, and enough to have heat, power for the freezers, the fridge, and a few lights and the TV and if not the TV, the stereo, so they could change things around how they wanted. They have a wood stove and the main stove to cook on is propane, so they are all set. When the power is down there is no internet in the area so she does not need that. So long as we are okay, she was relaxed. They did have to go to the next town over to get gas for the generator though. LOL But - it was worth it. |
