Hi Cookie! Today Shanna Cooked Dinner for Mom,
....her mate, & her boyfriend! It was boiled shrimp, sweet potato fries, and a nice salad. She also made a veggie tray with dip. Then she MADE me a little plate of yummy fresh veggies! I peeped so loud & she could tell I was giving her a birdy "thank you"!! But when I nodded my head over my food, she was so thrilled because Mom had asked, "Do you like it, Sammy?" Shanna was very surprised that I nodded my head! Later on when the dishes were done & the kitchen was all cleaned up, Shanna had baked a small cake & served that up to all the humans. She DROPPED the cake knife when I asked her very sweetly, "I try?" Mom told me 'no' because it was chocolate cake. Shanna got a GOOD idea and fixed me some cinnamon bread toasted! Her boyfriend offered it to me & I was happy so I ate from his hand! He was thrilled because I did that for him.

When Mom got me put down for the evening, she turned out all my lights. She sat back down with her mate, Shanna & her boyfriend, and I said, "Night night. I love you!" Both Shanna & her boyfriend said "AAAwwww! That's so cute" Shanna was smacking herself because no one took pictures of me or captured what I was saying & doing on video. Mom told her that when Mom gets that stuff out to make a copy of me doing stuff.....I flat out stop doing it. I HATE that camera!

Thanks for suggesting this book! Mom's been making a first aid box per the suggestions by the birdchannel. It will be nice to read this & add to it and leave this book inside in case it should be needed. She also has some opportunities to take some classes from Parrot University & they have them for free! Some other classes that will start in Feb/March will be how to help parronts train better & encouraging foraging & problems to work out. Thanks again for suggesting this book for our collection. Sounds like a very informed book. Hugs to you, SamIam
