Hi, Mackenzie,
Our mom's an animal lover so no story is gonna bore her. All the books Cookie's highlighting during his campaign she plans to find and read (if she hasn't read it already) and finished Winging It (very good) and is just starting Flyaway. She's read the Bob Tarte books already (also very good).

Some animals have more mothering instinct than others and sounds like Savannah was one of 'em. Lots of stories with different species taking over rearing orphans. Perhaps Jenna and Roxy can't ever be left alone with you birds, but with three dogs they have each other for company and playtime.

Can't wait to hear the Shane puppy pigout story.

Have a great day, wing hugs and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
