My Sweet Simon How's my guy today? And how was your week? Anything amusing or interesting happen? Believe it or not, I was outside yesterday! Yessirree, I was. Couldn't believe it when instead of being put up to my perch in the kitchen, I was walked right on by and out the backdoor! I was like, Really? Oh Simon, the sun felt so wonderful. It's been months since my feathers have got a dose of sunshine and some fresh air blowing through them. I could've stayed out there forever. Unfortunately that wasn't an option as it was only 52°, but the brief time outside renewed my belief that the outside world does still exist. Most of the snow is now gone since it's been warm most of the week. The low last night was only 41 so more melting went on even after I came back in from my moment in the yard. I hear it might be white outside again tomorrow morning. That would be weird to see since everything's green and brown right now. I have a nail trim in the near future so if you hear any mournful hollering coming from the east, it's likely me, trying to evade that blasted towel that will be coming after me. I detest that thing! Hope your Saturday's a fine day and that whatever you find to do brings a smile to your beak. And speaking of your beak, here's a passionate GW kiss from my beak to yours— X~KISS! Love you, Darlin' REBA |
