Hey Pearl and Silver Now mom thinks the Shane puppy pigout story is going to be anticlimactic, but here goes. Mom and dad were going to school at Humboldt State and got Shane when the were living up there. They weren't supposed to have dogs in their apartment and figured while he was small it wouldn't be a problem cuz they could put paper down and train him to use it. He was smart and learned that withing a couple days. Well, mom and dad went off to school one day and when they came home Shane had gotten in the garbage. He ate everything - coffee grounds, egg shells, paper plates, empty boxes, etc. They cleaned up the mess and made sure there was plenty of paper all over the room cuz they had to go out again. When they came home the second time, Shane had used the paper - all over the room! There were more than ten puppy poops, each one on a separate sheet of newspaper and all containing some left over garbage. He had been full of it literally and he had been good using the paper. We know you probably had to be there, but mom and dad laughed and laughed and Shane was sooo happy cuz he thought he had done something spectacular. Mom says he was such an outstanding dog, always knew every word she said. If you want she can tell you the quick story about the superman toy that skin bro had as a little guy. Have a super Sunday, guys! Wing hugs and a vote too, Mackenzie |
