Mornin' MD Chorus!
"Who Ville" and "Lake Wobegone"... good ones! The other day mom came into my room lookin' very much like a "Who", her hair all wrapped around the tubes. I was none too sure about her. When I realized she had on different shoes than the ones usually worn around the house, I figured out she was plannin' on leavin' me which makes me want to bite her feet. I don't really bite but I sure try and give the bad shoes a stab.

Can you believe I got taken out in the snow for that picture? Me either. It actually wasn't too bad out that day, but the rocks I was perched on, those were plenty chilly. It's why I've got a toe held up. The nice foot massage afterwards felt good, that's for sure. A couple of days ago it was a whoppin' 52° here and the sun was shinin' all bright n'warm so I got t'go out for a couple of minutes. Ah Romeo, it felt so nice, the warm sun on my feathers. I had my wings spread out and my eyes half shut as I basked in that blessed sunlight. How sweet it was t'be outside again, even if only for a couple a'minutes. Since 52 ain't exactly tropical, I couldn't stay out long. And besides, there were four other parrots waitin' for a turn. We're all happy t'know the outside world still exists.

How's things with Julie? Has she finally fallen for your beautiful serenading? Grover and Gonzo finally picked a nest box and settled in. Funny, they wouldn't do that while the box was screwed to the wall. It took setting the nest box on the floor to get them to move in. Now, when it's time to roll up the paper that covers the little bird room floor and sweep up the mess, their box has t'be picked up and carried into my room. Gonzo always hops out when mom taps the lid, then Grover and Gonz pace back and forth, in the way of the broom, until their eggs are returned to them. Silly little 'tiels.

Hope your Tuesday's a happy one!
