Hi Handsome Dixie
flock mates and the most amazing mom Rose - mom is so sorry she was absent yesterday. She just is not doing so great with the fibro and to top that off, she says her throat is a bit sore and we hear her voice going in and out. She has had so many things to take care of the past two days that resting has been very difficult. So last night she went to bed at 8 and even though there was no sleeping possible til 11, she at least had some down time. She sure missed all y'all. You really make her day and she also feels bad when she can't get back to you right away. Dixie, we are sure thinking positive thoughts for you our best pal. We just know things we be alright and you will be fine and dandy again. Yikes, 17 degrees all day is soooo very cold. We were complaining about daily temps in the low 40's - well no more. And, weather info mom has been hearing is that we are going back to our normal California winter temps, maybe into the 60's during the days. We sure wish y'all could join us in the coming sunshine. We certainly send you some warmth and wrap our wings and arms around you and hope you can at least feel a little sunshine on your faces. Mom finally broke down and bought a wireless printer today so she now has to figure that out. Just such a pain to carry the notebook to the printer, hook it up, print and then if there were any repeats necessary, do the whole thing again. Mom says that's what charge cards are for! LOL! We love all y'all sooo very much and are so grateful for the wonderful friendship you have given us. We send lots of wing hugs and mom sends mom Rose a big warm hug. She loves the hugs your mom sends her. They give her lots of strength. Please forgive us if we aren't here as often as we would like, but we will do our very best! Vote for you Dixie!
