What a great float idea for the parade. And since the description of the float is up to the birdy entering it, entries are accepted right up till the day of the milonga. So you are definitely in time. You just need to work up your description of the "Pirate Pearl Jr" for the big day. You will be entry #6, and I will add you to list of entries as soon as I get done blogging (different sign in). The parade is not a contest, but just something for all of us birdies to enjoy!
Yahoo! Here comes the sun! It is finally back to normal So Cal temps here in Simi Valley (72), and I got a very nice sun bath this afternoon. It was perfect outside, and it supposed to stay that way at least through Tuesday. A high schooler walked by while I was out there, and he said Hi to me. I wasn't sure about him, so I waited till he was past MY sidewalk and then I screamed at him. Guess I showed him.
Mom knows that time in the pool and jacuzzi at the gym would be good for her, but she really is not a water person. She says it is because she is a Sagittarius which is a fire sign, but that is just dumb. I wonder what sign I am? Since nobirdy knows my real hatchdate it could be anything. Hmmm....
Today is housecleaning day, and for some strange reason Cassie the cat did not run and hide when the dreaded vacuum AKA kitty eating machine came out. She laid on the couch thru the whole thing. Mom thinks it is a sign of the apocalype, but I think she has just finally gone completely deaf. She is 18 years old after all. Now we will have to see if she still rats out to Dad when he gets home that Mom vacuumed. Should be interesting.
