Can't thank you and mom enough for all you're doing - so far we have you, me, Kiwi (and Oatie ?), Waddles (and Lucy ?), Micky, The Bird, Photon, and Jade - those are our difinates . . .
Another reference book today - HOLISTIC CARE FOR BIRDS : A MANUAL OF WELLNESS AND HEALING by David McCluggage and Pamela Leis Higdon is a practical and comprehensive guide to bird care. It includes sections on emotional well-being, anatomy, nutrition, recognizing illness or injury and homeopathic treatments. There are numerous appendices on finding avian vets, helpful websites, suppliers of homeopathic remedies, and a bibliography for further reading. Straight forward and easy to read !
