Hello Romeo!
Sounds like it's a really good thing that 5" of snow didn't fall and add to the traffic problems in your area. 2 hours t'go 10 miles is terrible! Glad she got home safe though.

I can understand taht "no spark" thing. I see it happening in the 'tiel's room. Originally it was Papa Tiki and his lovely bride Lila. Of the six kids they had, three were boys, three were girls. Brothers and sisters became bestest buddies, hangin' out together in pairs. When a couple of tragic accidents took two of the girls away, Tiki and Silas were left without a mate/friend. Thinking they might like a companion again, two girls were chosen from the parrot rescue but not a single spark happened between any of the four. The two girls hung out together all the time and Tiki and Silas took up a single, solitary life style. I've probably told you this story before so if you fall asleep, I'll completely understand. Anyway, four of the 'tiel family were still at the rescue the next time mom's bird club visited so she brought them home as well, reunited six of the original eight. There are four girls and two guys. Just recently Silas has fallen for the lovely Miss Daffney and they have set up house in one of the nest boxes. Mom is most pleased to see Silas so happy again. Silas is not going to be pleased when those fake eggs start showin' up in his box. Har.

A quick story about Grover. This morning when his box was picked up, he opted to stay inside instead of bail out and stayed put the five minutes or so he was in my room while the floor was swept in his. He peeked his head out as the box was being carried back and put down but once on the floor, he tucked himself back inside. Silly little bird.

Thanks for flyin' by. Love chattin' with you, Romeo.
Happy Weekend to you all too!
