Your menu options sound so tasty. When at first you said Shauna's Mash, I thought it was something you purchased and added foods to but then the more I read, the more it become obvious that this is something your Mama puts together herself. A little further investigation and I found the recipe on the internet. There's some additional suggestions on there I think I'll have mom try. I'm relieved to see it say that all berries are permissible. The other day in a newsletter from Windy City Parrot, raspberries were on the too-acidic list and I was bummed about that because I happen to like those little red berries. I've been getting a couple most every week but with the latest comment, they didn't show up in my bowl this past week. It's so confusing sometimes, what's good and not good. Have I told you that I now eat oatmeal readily? Yes sir, I do. There are generally dried cranberries added, and sometimes mashed banana or mango. I never thought I'd see the day I'd actually like the stuff but that day has arrived. There are other hot cereal varieties we see in our bowls but the oatmeal really is my favorite. With pomegranates in season there's lots of those seeds in my dish these days. Saber doesn't like them at all so only one is given to him. I've yet to see him do anymore than pitch out to the floor first thing. Pains me to witness that.

Since today has afforded us deprived McFlocksters a few minutes on the BC, I think I'll head out and share a greeting with the members of our new baseball team. I'm tickled to be a part of the group again.

Hugs and kisses, kisses and hugs... and a scritch to the spot you can't reach if you need.
