Hello Miss Monty Mae!
You do look rather like you're trying to rest up and recuperate in your profile picture. Were the holidays quite busy at your home? I know your Mom has thrown a party or two or three in the past so perhaps your home was the hub of holiday activity this past season. If so, that would mean you have many an extraordinary tale you could be telling. You always did live a rather amusing life.

Me, I'm just doing basically the same ol' same ol' here in the midwestern plains of the prairie. Yesterday's view out the bay window of my room was white for as far as the eye could see. Today with the 50° temps, the white is gone and it's nothing but brown I'm seeing now. The orange of the setting sun is giving things a bit of a burnished hue but otherwise it's just a boring. When things get lackluster like this, I'm forced to rely on myself to liven things up. Thank goodness for wings that can get me into things!

It's wonderful that you've signed on to play baseball again this year. I was informed I'd not be able to take part this coming season. I'd even gone through the painful step of informing Coach Chloe that I wasn't going to be able to play but after having done that and thinking about everybirdie having a good time together on the field, I managed to sweet-talk mom into changing her mind. I'm so glad she did because, for one, it'll be nice to run into you more often in the coming months.

I do hope the new year is off to a pleasant start for you and that all that happens around you provides amusement of some sort and a sense of comfort and love.

Your friend,
K *v*
