Hello Sweetie
I wonder what you did today, what you ate, what you said, how you felt. I can tell you what I did; I made sure I wasn't anywhere near an open door to the outside world. The air out there is FRIGID! It's all of 6° right now which is even too cold for a Cardinal. I've had a grand time camping out on the drying rod in the front room, either bunched up in a napping position or hanging like a little monkey, swinging wildly back and forth, making 'tiel sounds loud enough to get everybirdie going in the bird rooms. Once they're wound up, I'd go back to just sitting and staring out the south window. It's a hoot to get things started.

I've started something else; my first adventure on Captain Ceasaur's pirate ship The Pearl. I've never participated before so have been planning on signing on ever since last summer. And then mom went and sign on with dad and the sign business which meant she had to tell me my social life was going to have to be tapered back (like it wasn't already). Well, I've since decided that life sails by us fast enough and that my waiting for a year where things slow down a little is a goofy idea and that I'd better just seize the chance to have some fun, snagging the chance to participate whenever possible. I've told Pirate Sam and Captain Ceasaur I'd like to work in sail repairs but that if that job's already been filled, I'd happily do just about anything else. (I really don't think they want me in the kitchen. I'd be serving everybirdie these tiny little meals because that's all I ever want to eat. There'd be lots of complaining and I'd likely find myself perched on the end of a long plank hanging out over the dark hungry ocean.... If you ever thought about being a pirate, this is the year! *wink*

As always, I've spent the day imagining you feeling the best you have in a long while. It's a beautiful sight.
