My dearest Baby...
You are so lucky to live in a warm place! it is supposed to go down to minus 40 or lwoer tonight, and that is the same - celcius or farenheit! Either way that is freezing. Mom and Dad have the generator ready, just in case. Mom was talking to someone from one of the companies she gets toys from and there is going to be a big commercial toy show down your way, but it is only for companies. That means your parronts should be on the lookout for new toys in the future. Mom is hoping to get a few to try out for the rescue. So far no news on anything yet. It's too bad we did not live closer, so you could come and spend some time playing here. We get time out of our cages every day. We take turns and then Mom has to clean up the floor, because no matter how much paper she puts down, there is more poop on the floor than on the paper. Flapping wings moves paper. About the baseball team - several years ago, this man Mr Tim started a baseball series, and yes, birds CAN play baseball. It is all played with dice, but the commissioner likes the birds to participate and be at the games, and chat, like at parties. Well, my frother TiPaul was one of the coaches, but with everything going on, he wasn't always active, and now some other coach has most of the team, but Sam asked tiPaul to play on HIS Grey team and TiPaul said yes. Micky the Quaker in our flock used to play on the Wonder Wings team and is now playing with his own kind, the Quakers, and he is hoping the new Commissioner will let me play in his place on the mixed team. If you want to play ball, maybe Sam still has room - or you can even be a cheerleader. When TiPaul had the team, I was on it and my 3 fibblings were the cheerleaders, but now it is only one flock member per team, which is easier for Mom. She does not want all of us playing anymore. It is much too much work and takes up too much time, especially in the nice weather. Summers are short enough up north. I read that Oki can only blog once a week, but you seem to get more time. If you want, TiPaul can pick up you, if your Mom is out on a given day. Love and beaky kisses....Pepper
