Good evening Simon How was your weekend? For that matter, how was the past week? Good I hope. Mine was okay, except for that beak and nail trim but since it's done, I shouldn't have to worry about it happening again for awhile. Shooo. Good! As you know I don't have a cage of my own but camp out on RaneBeau's. More and more I spend time inside, sometimes even with him in there. Mom's so pleased that we get along this nicely. R's even nice enough to let me sit clear in the back up, up against the back wall where he likes to sleep at night. I don't sleep but just sit there gazing out at the world. I've been ask why I don't play with any toys or chew on anything while I'm in there. Heaven knows there's lots to do in there, but I'm content with just lounging. On the outside though, oh boy!— my beak's forever busy. Today and yesterday I managed to a good dent in a 2x8 that's secured across one corner. Last week it was a rope of 1x4 that I made mincemeat out of. Why my beak ever needs a trim, I don't know. You'd think all this crunching on wood would keep it shortened up. Maybe if I did more kisses, that would keep it in better shape. Want to help with that? *wink* *Reba presses her beak to Simon's, closing her eyes as she does, enjoying the pure bliss of the connection.* Good night my dear, precious friend. REBA |
