Hi Popeye
Oh how awful that your brother died like that and I just know how painful his flying to the Bridge could be to you! My fister Brenna looked just like you with all her feathers gone like that, she only had feathers on her head, tail feathers, and a few on her wings, other than that she was completely bald. But like your Dad loves you no matter what,my Mom loved Brenna feathers or no feathers! People just don't understand that when we are thrown out of our homes and into uncertainty it really affects us! And even the slightest change can stress us out as we like routine in our lives! And that when one of our flockmates dies it hurts us and that we grieve too just like humans do! When Brenna and Gabbie died I wouldn't eat for several days,my Mom kept me out with her and in the middle of everything til I could feel better about it and start to eat again! We are so blessed to have loving Parronts who care and understand us!
Emmie is such a sweet little thing! We went over and introduced ourselves to her and welcomed her to BC! My Mom raised Keets for 36 years and she was into the genetics of it all and bred some very colorful keets! Emmie is so beautiful! How do you like your new sister? She's so tiny next to you! My Mom's been away from Keets for so long that when she grooms one they're just so tiny as she's used to us slightly bigger fids!
Wishing you a great day and I'm sending you all my love along with warm birdie hugs and soft beakie kisses! Love,Dixie
